VARSITY FRAMES:

The Varsity frame is a good starter model.  The Varsity consists of pairs of uprights connected with a crossmember. This setup is considered a frame section.

A 55'L net requires four frame sections and a 70'L uses five frame sections.

Frames are available in 1-7/8" diameter and 2-3/8" outside diameters.

The frames include PVC ground sleeves. The sleeves are installed directly in concrete. The uprights simply slide into those sleeves.  This is convenient so you can remove the frame. In ground backyard batting cages with ground sleeves are considered a non-permanent structure for zoning & HOA guidelines.

COLLEGIATE FRAMES:

The Collegiate backyard batting cage frame consists of two frame sections on each end.  Each frame section features two uprights and a crossmember. The brackets for the crossmember is open on top so it can slide down the upright. This allows for the upright to extend above the crossmember which is then used to attach a bridge suspension kit to support the horizontal cable lines spanning between the frame sections.

PRO MODEL FRAMES:

The Pro Model frame is the best option for durability and aesthetic purposes.  Many high schools and universities prefer this model.

This frame consists of four uprights in each corner which creates the cleanest and most professional look.

The poles are available in a 6-5/8" diameter and 8-5/8" outside diameter. The uprights extend above the horizontal cable position. This allows for the bridge suspension kit, similar to the Collegiate frame.

Optional upgrades on the Collegiate & Pro Model include a bottom anchor kit. This help keeps the bottom of the net down, which is ideal for windy areas.

All frames are made with galvanized steel, and we offer an optional powder coating upgrade

The Pro Model comes standard with black paint so it can be painted on site.

Backyard Batting Cage Care in the Offseason

Take down the netting and unhook the cable lines during winter.

Snow accumulation on the netting puts a tremendous amount of weight on the frame and can cause the poles to collapse.

The Collegiate and Varsity frames have a small residential delivery fee.

The Pro Model offers free shipping for both residence and commercial addresses.

The Pro Model poles are extremely heavy. The poles weigh approximately 250 lbs each on the standard 6-5/8" diameter option..
